WHAT IS THE UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION (UBE)?

to ANSAR UD DEEN NURSERY & PRIMARY SCHOOL

It is part of our commitment to excellence and desire to research and implement innovative ways to improve the quality of our educational impact on our students, the staff and also the parents (whom have all demonstrated confidence in us by supporting the school and its programs in ways too numerous to mention) that we have taken the giant step of going "online" as the saying goes in this 21st century!
Since the school was founded on the 2nd of May 1989, we have progressed from having three staff and 12 pupils to 23 Teaching staff and 464 pupils as at January 1995. You can read about the history of the school in more details by clicking here or the History button on this page.

We are proud also to provide information to enlighten both parents and students on the current UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION (UBE), the name tag given to the new policy on education in Nigeria. Many members of the public have been unduly alarmed at the so called "Primary 9" in the UBE. Just take the time to read about the UBE and you can become one of the increasing number of Nigerians fully literate on this educational policy.
